21 April Wilderness Crafts
Come along for a full day of activities to learn the crafts of Friction Fire Making, Shelter Building, Making your own Cordage(Rope), Making Clay Blobsters and Nature Games outside. From 10am-4pm which will take place outside in the quarry. Suitable for Ages 7+.  Booking Essential. 21 April Saturday Art and Dance
North Edinburgh Arts Centre
For 5 to 8 year olds, and 8 to 12 year olds we have two sessions of arts & crafts and dance. Parents are welcome to enjoy a cuppa in our cafe while the kids are having fun or drop-off their children and return after the session. Children who attend both sessions; art and dance, will be given a healthy snack during their supervised break. The Create project provides quality art-making experiences for parents and carers that engage them in active play with their children aged 0-5., the project provides active and creative childhood experiences for both the children and the adults. The Create Project provides the resources, ideas, guidance and creative inspiration for a range of activities that can often be replicated at home using recycled, cheap and easily obtainable materials. 24 April Lyceum Youth Discover
North Edinburgh Arts Centre Tuesdays 4 – 5.30pm
 North Edinburgh Arts is delighted to be working in partnership with Lyceum Youth Theatre through the LYT Discover Programme. This weekly group for children aged 9 – 12 yrs old is run by an experienced drama artist and youth theatre trainee from the Lyceum's Creative Learning team. Tuesday 24th April Summer Little Sparks
Little Sparks weekly courses offer the ultimate in green outdoor art for preschoolers. These morning and afternoon sessions are packed with fun and messy indoor and outdoor activities which develop preschool skills in the beautiful environment of Jupiter Artland. Using the sculpture in its unique natural setting as a base, the children work on stimulating themed art and craft activities. Imaginative play, drama and music sessions alongside the art work add up to a wonderfully busy morning for little ones. Coffee and cake in the Proposals Room for mums and dads to meet and chat too. Suitable for 2.5 year upwards.  Morning session 9.30am to 12pm – 10 sessions £85.  Afternoon session 1-3pm – 10 sessions    £75

Pedal on Parliament will be gathering cyclists from across the nation to cycle on Holyrood to tell our politicians that cycling matters. Families will be welcome and encouraged on the slow ride from the Meadows (meet for 2pm) via the Royal Mile to the Scottish Parliament.  Ages 1 to 15 http://pedalonparliament.org/
